Summary of the Role
The Sr Customer Audience Strategist – Legal Professionals Accelerator is the primary interface between the Legal Accelerator programme and Thomson Reuters’ Customer Data Platform. This is a strategic advisory role — not a production role — responsible for ensuring data and audience intelligence shape programme decisions from the outset, not after briefs are written.
Responsibilities- CDP Advisory & Audience Strategy
- Act as subject matter expert on Legal Professionals data in Treasure Data: account and contact data, product entitlements, behavioural signals, consent flags, and suppression logic.
- Design audience frameworks across new logo, retention, cross‑sell, and win‑back use cases; advise on segmentation logic including RFM prioritisation, account scoring, and AI‑assisted generation via Treasure Data Audience Agent.
- Guide the programme on audience sizing and reachability before campaigns are scoped, and validate AI‑generated audiences before activation.
- Data Enrichment & New Opportunities
- Evaluate and recommend new data types to improve Legal Professionals targeting — including intent data, technology intelligence, firmographic enrichment, and product usage signals.
- Maintain a data opportunity register tracking evaluated sources, activation paths, and expected audience uplift; collaborate with Commercial Engineering and Master Data on pipeline feasibility.
- Stakeholder Representation & CDP Development
- Represent Marketing Analytics and CDP in Legal Accelerator steering groups and strategy sessions; provide written capability summaries for programme leadership and raise cross‑functional blockers with proposed resolutions.
- Stay current with Treasure Data AI Foundry and Audience Agent developments; identify platform capability gaps and share findings with the broader CDP team to lift practice across segments.
- Required
- 5+ years in marketing operations, martech, or a data‑adjacent marketing role, with direct CDP or marketing data platform experience in a campaign or audience context.
- Strong command of B2B segmentation — account‑based approaches, propensity frameworks, consent management — and a proven ability to advise senior non‑technical stakeholders.
- Preferred
- Hands‑on experience with Treasure Data, Eloqua, or Salesforce; working SQL knowledge; familiarity with intent data, HG Insights, or firmographic enrichment providers.
- Exposure to Legal Professionals, Tax, or enterprise software markets; understanding of GDPR, CASL, and CAN‑SPAM in a B2B marketing context.
