Banner Health is committed to leading change in health care. We are seeking a LMDI specialist with Cerner Millennium Pathnet application experience to join our Lab IT team. As an IT Clinical Applications Lab Analyst, you will manage vendor relationships, implement cybersecurity procedures and policies, and oversee the day‑to‑day management of laboratory medical device instrumentation (LMDI) for IT projects and database management related to laboratory applications.
You will analyze security, clinical, business, and user needs, maintain regulatory compliance, and provide guidance to define, design and modify specifications and processes.
This remote position operates Monday through Friday, 8a.m.–5p.m. AZ time. Eligible home states include: AL, AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, , IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WV & WY.
Position SummaryThis high‑level strategic contributor uses clinical expertise to formulate system scope and objectives related to business requirements. Acts independently or as a leader, providing knowledge, guidance and research to define, design, and modify specifications and processes of complex information systems. Responsible for establishing documentation standards and quality assurance methodologies for systems and applications.
Core FunctionsRequires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and a current valid clinical license, certification or credential in the state of practice. Must have 4–7 years of experience in a healthcare environment, general knowledge of IT and healthcare, medium‑scale project planning experience, and strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to mentor less experienced team members and willingness to work variable shifts, hours or respond to pagers.
Preferred QualificationsAdditional related education and/or experience is preferred. Estimated pay range: $39.00–$65.00 per hour.
