Job Overview

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks a Business Systems Analyst Specialist – Payment System Specialist in Jacksonville, FL. The role involves eliciting, analyzing, communicating, and validating business/user requirements for processes, policies, and information systems, translating business needs into functional specifications, defining system scope, formulating procedures to solve complex problems, and influencing business partners regarding priorities and vendor selection.

• Elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate business/user requirements for processes, policies, and information systems.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications that define system, process, or product/service behavior.
• Define system scope and objectives through research and fact‑finding.
• Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems while considering equipment capacity, operation time, and desired results.
• Document requirements and translate them into system requirement specifications.
• Influence business partners and service providers regarding priorities, hardware/software selection, and vendor selection.

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or foreign equivalent.
• Alternatively, Master’s degree in one of the above fields.
• Nine (9) years of progressively responsible experience in end‑to‑end systems development life cycles, including waterfall, iterative, and other modern approaches.
• Experience using Agile software development methodology (SAFe, Kanban) and tools such as Jira, Aha, and Clarity.
• Experience performing solutions design and requirements definition using model‑driven design tools, conceptual solution component models, business process models, and use cases.
• Experience working with Payments, Payment Processors, Payment Networks, and Digital Payments.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft SQL and data mapping; writing and analyzing SQL queries.
• Proficiency in coding principles and methodologies.
• Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
