Systems Administrator, Cloud Computing
AT&T Global Public Sector is a trusted provider of secure, IP-enabled, cloud-based, network solutions and professional services to the Federal Government. We are recruiting for a Linux Administrator to support Public Sector Solutions at a government customer site. The position requires office presence 5 days per week at the posted location, with no relocation or remote work offered. The role involves designing architecture, developing solutions, and managing Linux instances in a hybrid cloud environment.
ResponsibilitiesManage, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux instances on multiple networks and architectures. Design architecture and develop solutions to meet organizational needs. Automate processes using Bash, Python, Puppet, or Ansible. Mentor junior staff and collaborate with diverse teams to resolve issues.
Required Skills- Strong Linux administration experience: configuring, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with diverse teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Experience creating, debugging, and implementing Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible automation scripts.
- Ability to work in a team and mentor junior staff.
- Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies.
- Ability to communicate issues with team members and/or service owners.
- Experience with AWS, specifically EC2 Auto Scaling.
- Experience with aws-cli and Boto

TS/SCI with polygraph.
Required Qualifications- Ten (10) years experience as a system administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Five (5) years of additional system administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAT Level II (SEC+, CCNA).
Salary: $98,100 - $174,800 yearly (depending on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training).
