Job Summary
IT Generalist Intern – 4‑month summer internship with Aleron Group. The role focuses on leading a SharePoint intranet revamp, supporting Power BI reporting, and providing general IT support to end users.
Responsibilities- Lead the end‑to‑end redesign of the company’s SharePoint intranet: redesign site structure, navigation, page layouts, and content organization; build pages, web parts, and document libraries; develop adoption guides; conduct user testing and gather feedback.
- Support data and reporting initiatives: build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports; clean, transform, and prepare data; translate reporting needs into visualizations; document data processes and report definitions.
- General IT support: troubleshoot hardware, software, and applications; assist end‑user support; contribute to the development and maintenance of internal knowledge base articles; support ad‑hoc IT tasks and projects.
- General understanding of IT concepts: hardware, software, networking, operating systems.
- Experience with SharePoint (online or on‑premises) for site building, page design, or content management; familiarity with Microsoft 365 is a plus.
- Familiarity with data and reporting tools, particularly Power BI, Tableau, or Excel; experience building or interpreting dashboards is a plus.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and organizational skills; attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive and eager to learn new technologies and processes.

- Hourly pay: $18.00.
Hybrid setting utilizing laptops, video‑conferencing, cloud-based applications, and collaborative platforms. Remote work is supported; occasional in‑office use may be required.
