Supervisor, Analytics Reporting – Overview
The purpose of the Supervisor, Analytics Reporting position is to actively monitor and report on the performance of models in production, coach and support a team in developing increased knowledge of the systems and internal methodologies, and support the business through data‑driven insights.
Responsibilities- Develop complex programming to extract and manipulate data.
- Create reports regarding key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Investigate reporting trends.
- Run ad‑hoc data requests for key business users.
- Provide fraud‑related triggers reporting.
- Automate recurring reports.
- Monitor and maintain complex statistical models to optimize high‑volume decisions.
- Develop, produce, and support reporting to measure the performance of processes, models, and strategies.
- Perform ad‑hoc data analysis to solve business problems and drive better decisions.
- Translate high‑level business goals into technical specifications.
- Provide recurring training, coaching, and mentorship to less senior team members.
- Work from home and travel occasionally to the Southfield, Michigan office as required.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of professional experience with SAS, SQL, R, Python or other statistical programming languages (SAS/SQL highly preferred).
- 3+ years of recent experience creating reports, reviewing trends, and performing deep‑dive analysis in an analytical tool or business intelligence setting.
- 2+ years of recent experience leading or mentoring an analytics team.
- Experience developing reporting to monitor predictive models.
- Ability to work on multiple competing priorities and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience extracting and manipulating large data sets.
- Strong communication skills, able to convey complex information in an understandable manner.
- Preferred: 3+ years’ experience in auto‑lending analytics and recent experience at a small company.
Targeted compensation: $115,000 – $153,000 base salary + an annual bonus plan.
