Job Type: Full Time
Work Schedule & Location RequirementsThis position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This role is not approved for remote work. Candidates must reside in the Tulsa area and be available to work onsite.
Job SummaryOperate and monitor the day to day business within the main Computer Data Center. Ensure the integrity of data through system backups and data storage. Provide customer service and first level support on hardware/software and application deficiencies for the SFHS. Accurately transcribe and relay information into the Heat problem tracking system, ensuring problems/requests are addressed in a timely manner.
Minimum EducationHigh School Diploma or GED. Bachelor9s Degree in Computer Science preferred.
Licensure, Registration and/or CertificationNone.
Work Experience3 - 4 years related experience.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
Outstanding communication skills. Working knowledge of Heat software.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Maintain proficiency and understanding of duties of Computer Operations, including monitoring and responding in a timely manner to hardware/software and system deficiencies.
- Maintain an accurate set of backup tapes and prepare for off-site storage and report distribution.
- Accurately transcribe and relay information required of first level support for problems within the SFHS.
- Enter service tickets into Heat and ensure tickets are completed as described and forwarded to the correct technical support group for resolution.
- Maintain professionalism in tone and content.
- Scrub hard drives on surplus PCs and maintain an accurate database of device IDs.
- Keep management abreast of hardware/software problems, especially those that could/should escalate.
Independent judgment in planning sequence of operations and making minor decisions in a complex technical or professional field.
Working RelationshipsWorks directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal and external customers via telephone or face-to-face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff.
