Senior SaaS Engineer
What you'll doWe are looking for a self‑motivated Senior SaaS Engineer to help build, maintain, and rationalize our internal SaaS ecosystem. The role involves day‑to‑day management of SaaS applications, enforcing vendor policies, and working with business stakeholders to maximize value delivery. The Senior Engineer will lead the architecture, governance, and optimization of enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, security and alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with business stakeholders to architect, implement, configure and maintain corporate SaaS applications such as Google Workspace, Okta, Microsoft Office 365, Slack, Lucidchart, and others.
- Deploy and maintain cloud‑based applications, systems, and associated cloud infrastructure.
- Help define our SaaS service blueprint and establish a cross‑functional intake, management, and support model.
- Build critical trust and relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
- Orchestrate and automate key cloud‑based business platforms throughout the company.
- Define and evangelize new productivity and collaboration patterns to support a hybrid working environment.
- Maintain a security‑first approach to development, configuration, and administration.
Hybrid:
Employees divide their time between in‑office and remote work. An office location is required with a minimum of two in‑office days per week.
- Minimum eight years of related experience with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or 5+ years with a master's degree.
- Experience architecting end‑to‑end collaboration and productivity solutions.
- Experience deploying, administering, and supporting enterprise SaaS applications.
- Google Workspace administration experience (core apps, security tools, identity management).
- Okta administration (SAML/OIDC, custom apps, SCIM, attribute mapping, authentication rules).
- Experience with collaboration and communication platforms such as Slack, Box, Send Grid, Lucidchart, and related SaaS tools.
- Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (Python, Power Shell).
- Experience using REST APIs to integrate SaaS applications into a broader architecture.
- Experience building lightweight business applications with Google Workspace, Apps Script, and App Sheet.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with Scrum, Agile, CI/CD practices.
- Administrative experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Office 365.
- Experience implementing AI‑powered productivity, automation, and workflow solutions, including GenAI and agentic workflows.
- Experience with identity and access management (unified profiles, role‑based access).
- Experience integrating custom APIs and RESTful services with other SaaS systems.
- Proven experience with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Self‑starter with ability to prioritize and execute tasks with minimal direction.
- Strong team player who takes responsibility, accountability, and ownership.
- Project management experience for organization‑wide application updates.
- Strong decision‑making, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills in complex environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, conveying technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to mentor and share knowledge across all organizational levels.
Pay is based on geographic location and experience. Base salary ranges:
- California: $132,700 – $206,800
- Washington, Maryland, New Jersey, New York (NYC metro): $126,500 – $182,500
Additional compensation: bonus plans (variable for Sales, company bonus for non‑Sales) and Restricted Stock Units.
