" Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
" 5+ years experience working with master data management, data migration, and data transformation activities within medium to large scale initiatives.
" Experience with ERP implementation projects, Oracle ERP preferred.
" Projects and Financial data background a plus
" Strong background in documenting business requirements and creating functional design documents.
" Familiarity with data migration concepts and methodologies.
" Proficiency in using data mapping tools and documentation software.
" Basic understanding of data engineering principles and database technologies.

The Opportunity: This opportunity is supporting the organization as it establishes and implements the strategy around business platforms, including but not limited to the Field Service Management (FSM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Human Capital Management (HCM), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools. The intent is to transition operating companies and branches onto platforms in a strategic manner that optimizes and expedites value capture as well as minimizes disruption to the business.
This program will also encompass legal entity rationalization and shared services establishment discussions as necessary to facilitate the system and platform moves. The scope of the program includes both business transformation and technology across the company in several phases over the next 2-3 years.
Position Summary:
The Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical documentation, ensuring smooth and efficient data migration processes. This individual will be responsible for creating functional design documents that our data engineers will execute to achieve seamless data transitions.
This Data Analyst will specifically provide support for the program within the Financial Operations workstream focusing on data requirements, validation, testing, documentation and issue resolution. The analyst is responsible for using your knowledge of data processing software and business development strategies to provide sound business decisions to business leaders. This position will work closely with the platform team(s) to engage stakeholders across operating companies, corporate functions, and vendor partners to successfully deliver project objectives and outcomes within the selected systems.

- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and interpret business and data requirements, ensuring that there is a clear understanding on both sides.
- Develop comprehensive functional design documents based on business requirements. These documents will serve as blueprints for data engineers to implement data migration processes accurately.
- Work closely with business users to analyze requirements, validate them, and translate them into functional specifications.
- Create detailed process and/or data flow diagrams and data mapping documentation to outline the end-to-end data migration processes.
- Partner with data engineers to ensure they have a thorough understanding of the functional requirements and assist them in translating these into technical solutions.
- Conduct testing and validation to ensure that the functional design documents are correctly implemented and meet the business requirements.
- Provide ongoing support during different phases of the data migration project, including planning, execution, and post-implementation.
- Identify and recommend improvements to existing processes and documentation practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the data migration team.
- Work closely with various teams, including IT, marketing, field service, finance, and operations, to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
