The AI Enablement Specialist will serve as a key driver in helping our organization thoughtfully adopt and leverage artificial intelligence to enhance productivity and elevate the member experience. Key Responsibilities
- AI Ambassador & Business Partner:
Serve as the go-to resource for AI guidance, supporting teams in exploring approved tools and best practices. - Use Case Identification:
Partner with departments to uncover opportunities where AI can improve efficiency, enhance member experience, and solve business challenges. - Solution Evaluation:
Help assess AI tools and vendors for fit, value, usability, and responsible use; maintain an inventory of solutions and capabilities. - Training & Enablement:
Support and help deliver AI training to build organizational knowledge and confidence in using AI. - Responsible AI & Governance:
Promote ethical, compliant AI use by guiding teams on risks, data handling, and governance considerations in partnership with Risk and Information Security. - Pilot Coordination:
Assist in coordinating demos, pilots, and proof-of-concept initiatives, gathering feedback to inform decisions. - Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:
Capture insights, recommendations, and lessons learned to strengthen AI adoption and future decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with business units and key stakeholders to align AI efforts with organizational strategy and controls.
- Minimum five years of experience in evaluating and / or governing generative AI solutions or other IT solutions is required.
- Experience with implementing or governing Microsoft Copilot (or a similar generative AI tool) is strongly preferred.
- Individuals should also be able to demonstrate the ability to translate technical jargon into terms the business unit can understand.
- This position is salaried, 40-hours a week, Monday through Friday.
- Flexibility within the department operating hours is expected for other scheduling needs.
- Primary working hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST
- This position is located at Altra's Operations Center in Onalaska, WI
- However, work from home / remote opportunities can be considered for those candidates who live within Altra's approved remote states:
CO, FL, GA, IA, MI, MN, NJ, NC, TN, TX, and WI.
- Competitive annual pay of $82,575+, based on experience.
