Summary

We are seeking a Level-3 ACH Support Specialist to manage and optimize the IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) platform. This software is the backbone of our retail payments processing, and this role is critical to ensuring its operational stability, security, and continuous improvement. This consultant will be the primary technical authority for FTM ACH running on IBM AIX platforms. Responsibilities will span the full application lifecycle, from initial installation and configuration to high-level production troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

This is a high-impact position requiring deep technical expertise in Unix environments and a methodical approach to resolving complex software issues under stressful, high-stakes conditions.

Responsibilities

* Lead activities associated with the installation, configuration, and initial testing of the FTM ACH solution on IBM AIX.

* Standardize and refine deployment practices across the organization.

* Design deployment packages and write scripts to automate deployment steps, monitor system health, and interface with other on-premises applications.

* Provide advanced technical support for the IBM FTM ACH software including deep-dive research into production issues and permanent remediation.

* Develop, write, and execute automated test plans and scripts to verify initial software quality and ongoing stability.

* Author detailed installation instructions to create a repeatable, high-quality deployment process.

* Participate in a rotating 24x7 on-call schedule to support critical retail payment processing.

Requirements

* +3 years of experience providing Level-3 support for IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for ACH.

* Strong technical skills in IBM AIX (Unix).

* Demonstrated ability to perform thorough, methodical research to investigate complex software problems and produce detailed written explanations of results.

* Proven ability to coordinate the resolution of complex problems under stressful, time-sensitive situations.

Preferred

* Experience with Web Sphere, DB2, and/or MQ.

* Proficiency with Service Now, Jira, SharePoint, Visio, and/or automated testing concepts.

* Experience in Unix BASH Shell scripting for automation.
