We are excited to announce an opportunity for a highly skilled Release Train Engineer to join a cutting-edge project focused on the development of autonomous systems. This role is pivotal in orchestrating and optimizing the Agile Release Train (ART) process, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration across multiple vendors and government teams. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing agile methodologies, guiding teams through incremental improvements, and ensuring alignment with strategic organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Agile Release Train, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and value delivery.
- Facilitate PI Planning events and other key agile ceremonies to align teams with the overarching mission and vision.
- Implement and adapt SAFe practices to meet the specific needs of the organization.
- Identify and mitigate risks while driving program increment (PI) performance and reporting.
- Champion a culture of excellence by coaching teams in Lean Agile principles.
- Enhance communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and as a Release Train Engineer or similar role.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Active SECRET security clearance is mandatory.
- In-depth understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) processes and military operations.
- Experience in leading multi-vendor integration within DoD environments.
- Background in customer-facing or consulting roles.
- Experience as a Systems or Software Engineer.
- Possession of an active TS/SCI security clearance.
- SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field.
