This position will be a remote position, but the successful candidate will be available to travel to Pierre on an as-need basis

Scope of Work
The client is seeking a qualified individual to provide project management for the Division of Child Support. Activities include but are not limited to:

• Leading the design, development, and implementation of various information system transformation projects.
• Providing strategic direction to the agency.
• Assisting with defining strategic direction of enterprise level IT implementations.
• Defining business and technological requirements by consulting with product owner, subject matter experts, and scrum teams to define business needs and objectives.
• Providing project management of highly complex large-scale enterprise projects and smaller scale projects.
• Leading and coordinating efforts of development teams and vendors to ensure solutions are implemented successfully.
• Ensuring project governance and monitoring controls are in place.
• Ensuring project design, development, and implementation are on time and budget.
• Mentoring state personnel in project management and over time potentially train state resources to take over this function.

• Knowledge of child support program policies, procedures, and business practices.
• Experience on child support system modernization projects.
• Successful experience managing information technology solutions.
• PMP certification or equivalent working experience.
• Knowledge of various software development methodologies (agile, waterfall, Dev Ops, etc.)
• Experience in successfully applying project management and project governance principles.
