We are seeking a skilled Dev Ops Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and compliant cloud infrastructure supporting NCCIH’s digital platforms and research initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • The ideal candidate will bridge development and operations, ensuring efficient CI/CD pipelines, system reliability, and adherence to federal security standards.
  • Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) for high availability and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and incident response using observability tools.
  • Collaborate with development, security, and data teams to streamline deployment processes.
  • Manage configuration, patching, and environment consistency across systems.
  • Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity planning.
  • Document processes, architecture, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 6–10+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure preferred).
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar).
  • Understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
  • Experience with AI/ML infrastructure pipelines.
  • Exposure to zero-trust architecture or advanced cybersecurity practices.
