Responsibilities
  • Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify deviations from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
  • Establish strict program control processes to mitigate risks and support certification and accreditation of systems, including process support, analysis, coordination, security certification testing, documentation, investigations, software/hardware integration, and audits.
  • Assist in implementing required government policy, propose process tailoring, and participate in and document process activities.
  • Perform analyses to validate security requirements and recommend additional safeguards; support Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) with pre-test preparations, testing, result analysis, and reporting.
  • Document results of Certification and Accreditation activities and prepare system Security Plans and update Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&M).
  • Periodically review system audits and monitor corrective actions until all actions are closed.
Qualifications

Minimum

Education Required:

Bachelors
Additional/

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience; OR an Associate degree with 7 years of relevant experience; OR a High School Diploma or equivalent with 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Must have a security certification in Security+ (or greater) to be considered.
  • Candidates must have a current DoD Secret level security clearance (minimum) with ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret level clearance as a condition of continued employment.
  • Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI, SAP/SAR access, or Polygraph is preferred.
  • Security certification in CAP, CASP+, Security+, CISM, or CISSP.
  • 4 years of experience with Certification and Accreditation of classified systems and RMF.
  • Knowledge of ACAS, NESSUS, SPLUNK, SCAP, POA&Ms, NIST, DIACAP, NISPOM, system audits, vulnerability scanning, and RMF package development.
