We are hiring a skilled Dev Ops Developer to join our team in Washington. As a Dev Ops Developer you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the systems and processes that support our software development and deployment. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of our applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with automation tools, cloud computing, and scripting languages.
This is a contract position open to Canadian citizens with their own visa. If you have a passion for streamlining processes and improving software delivery we want to hear from you.
- Design, implement and maintain automated systems for software deployment.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify areas for improvement in the development and deployment processes.
- Develop scripts to automate tasks related to infrastructure configuration and application deployment.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Manage cloud computing resources such as servers, databases and storage solutions.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code is deployed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Dev Ops role or similar position.
- Strong understanding of automation tools such as Jenkins, Chef or Puppet.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
