What You Will Do
Provide technical oversight and support across all areas of the RTX Service Now platform.
Ensure solutions are built in accordance with best practices while ensuring adherence to RTX governance, compliance, and organizational standards.
Provide resolution and guidance on complex technical issues while serving as the U.S.
-based Senior Service Now Technical Lead.
Provide guidance in alignment with best practices and standards on integrations between Service Now and other enterprise systems (e.g., Workday, Salesforce).
Collaborate with Service Now Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Architects to review requirements and implement design recommendations.
Support platform upgrades, patches, and health checks to ensure overall sustainability of the Service Now platform.
Stay current on Service Now platform updates, new features, and industry trends.
Proactively propose enhancements and other platform improvements to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications - Must Have- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with 10+ years of hands‑on experience in design, development, and delivery of Service Now solutions in a global environment.
- Deep Service Now technical expertise, including custom application development and scripting across ITSM, ITOM/ITAM, HRSD, Accounts Payable, integrations, and portal.
- Strong collaboration skills with all levels of the organization, including leadership, product managers, business analysts, architects, and stakeholders.
- Leadership and mentoring experience, including code peer reviews and advocacy of best practices.
- Advanced proficiency in scripting languages used within Service Now:
JavaScript, Glide Script, Angular, with experience in Virtual Agent, Agent Workspace, UI Builder, Flow Designer, and Platform Analytics. - Extensive experience with REST/SOAP integrations, scripted REST APIs, and strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM or HRSD
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other Agile software development methodologies

Remote – Employees will work primarily offsite. Remote workers may be asked to attend select in‑person interview steps at an RTX office.
