Overview

Mercor is seeking STEM Ph Ds for a premier project with one of the world s top AI labs. In this role, you will contribute your subject matter expertise to a cutting-edge project involving state-of-the-art large language models. Specifically, you will help create high-quality data that will inform the future of AI innovation by coming up with difficult problems in your domain.

• Contribute subject matter expertise to a cutting-edge project involving state-of-the-art large language models.
• Help create high-quality data by coming up with difficult problems in your domain.
• Role starts in April with rolling applications; responsibilities include ongoing data-centric work with defined weekly time commitments.

• Have a STEM PhD from a US, UK, Canadian, or European university in domains such as Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics.
• Have high attention to detail

• The role is ongoing starting in April with rolling applications.
• Project workload is 15-20 hours per week, with potential to be extended to 40 hours per week.
• A short interview (20-30 minutes) will be part of the screening process.
