Overview
Mercor is seeking STEM PhDs for a premier project with one of the world's top AI labs. In this role, you will contribute your subject matter expertise to a cutting-edge project involving state-of-the-art large language models. Specifically, you will help create high-quality data that will inform the future of AI innovation by coming up with difficult problems in your domain.
Responsibilities- Contribute subject matter expertise to a project involving state-of-the-art large language models.
- Help create high-quality data by identifying and proposing difficult problems in your domain.
- STEM PhD from a US, UK, Canadian, or European university in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, or Economics
- High attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in English
- Ongoing role starting in April with rolling applications
- 15-20 hours per week, with potential to extend to 40 hours per week
- Screening process: a short interview totaling 20-30 minutes
