IT Consultant, Systems Developer, Systems Analyst
Note:
This position is based in the United States, offers a 100% remote work option, and is open to eligible U.S.
-based candidates only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions on the Service Now platform
- Design and develop custom applications, custom rules, and platform customizations
- Configure and develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and ACLs
- Build and manage workflows using Flow Designer, including Flow Actions and Subflows
- Develop and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and Integration Hub
- Work on new module implementations and enhancements (ITSM and other Service Now modules as required)
- Ensure adherence to Service Now best practices, coding standards, and platform performance guidelines
- Support testing, deployment, and post-production stabilization
- Collaborate closely with architects, functional consultants, and stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience as a Service Now Developer
- Solid experience in Service Now scripting (JavaScript, Glide API)
- Proven experience with Business Rules, customizations, and custom development
- Strong expertise in Flow Designer, Flow Actions, and automation
- Experience working on integrations (REST, SOAP, Integration Hub)
- Experience implementing or enhancing Service Now modules (ITSM preferred)
- Good understanding of Service Now data model, security, and performance considerations
