Senior Business Analyst (Product Modelling Expert)

We are looking for an experienced Product Modelling Expert for our ITSM platform. The ITSM platform is the main digital interface for DTAG's large B2B customers to interact with Deutsche Telekom throughout the entire customer contract lifecycle. All DTAG products and services are described in a structured digital format (product models) within an electronic product catalog on the ITSM platform.

In this role, you will drive the creation of customer-specific catalog entries as well as standard DTAG products sold via the ITSM platform. You will work closely with Service Design, Solution Design, Product Portfolio Management, and DT IT teams to ensure product models are defined in a way that enables efficient catalog implementation.

• Lay the foundation for a structured, digital description of products and services for large B2B customers
• Based on overall product prioritization, collaborate with Solution Design (customer-specific items) and Portfolio Management (standard products)
• Extract and structure all relevant product information, including: product structure, order parameters, dependencies, order workflows
• Ensure product models have an appropriate level of complexity (as simple as possible, but sufficient for ITSM use cases)
• Create product models in a Catalog Management Tool (to be introduced in 2026) or document them in a format suitable for DT IT implementation
• Build, manage, and continuously extend a reusable product model library
• Own and maintain product models throughout the product and contract lifecycle
• Define, align, and evolve product modelling guidelines for the ITSM platform team

• Design and continuously improve product modelling guidelines for ITSM usage
• End-to-end ownership of selected product models, including: gathering required information from TDG experts (Solution Design & Portfolio Management), defining models with strong focus on reusability, ensuring compatibility with existing production models, implementing models directly or preparing detailed handover documentation for DT IT, adapting product models over time as contracts and products evolve
• Maintain and govern the product model library for future reuse

• Fluent English (daily working language);
  German is a strong advantage
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in TM Forum‑based product modelling
• Strong analytical skills to map complex B2B products into structured models
• Solid understanding of B2B products (e.g. Connectivity, Security, LAN) and Order‑to‑Cash processes
• Experience with large B2B contracts and related operational processes
• Knowledge of the TDG organization and internal stakeholder network
• Strong communication skills, able to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics
• Experience with Service Now
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
• High attention to detail with strong problem‑solving skills

• Ability to multi‑task and balance priorities
• Proactive, collaborative team player
