The job posting is for the overnight shift. Times you could be scheduled to work may vary anywhere from Midnight to 8:00am, Saturday through Friday.

The Student Assistant position with the 24/7 Online Support Desk is a technical troubleshooting and customer service focused position. Student assistants provide basic technical support to faculty and students within Blackboard. Prior knowledge is not necessary; we will train you on how to use Blackboard and all related tools and systems. A qualified applicant would be someone that enjoys working with technology, has a passion for problem solving, and who brings a positive, team-focused energy to enhance the team’s collaborative atmosphere.

You must be currently enrolled as a student at Sam Houston State University taking at least 6 credit hours to be eligible for this position. Our offices are located off the main campus, so employees are responsible for their own transportation to and from work.
