Oracle Database Administrator

Overview

You must currently reside in one of these two locations. This is a W2 role (no C2C options). Salary range $65-$75/hr plus benefits at 90 days (healthcare/401k). Work is Hybrid Tue, Wed, Thu in office. M&F work from home. Interview with client will be MS Teams video call (1 round). There will be on-call rotation to support. Our client, a major utility, is hiring a Mid Level Oracle DBA to support and enhance enterprise database environments
.

You will play a key role in designing, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise database solutions.

• Analyze business systems and improve database performance
• Design system specifications, data models, and prototypes
• Provide advanced Oracle and Golden Gate expertise
• Lead stakeholder discussions and support project delivery
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident resolution
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure reliability and compliance

• Bachelor s Degree with Oracle Certifications are a big plus
• Strong experience with Oracle DB, Golden Gate, RAC, and Exadata
• Experience with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and RAC
• Less focus on Enterprise Manager; stronger focus on Golden Gate
• Expertise in SQL optimization and performance tuning
• Experience with Unix/Linux and shell scripting
