- Lead Dev Ops initiatives for a large legacy system currently in production, with limited documentation. Strong discovery, assessment, and documentation skills are essential.
- Platform modernization to serverless architectures
- Security standardization and vulnerability management
- Monitoring standardization across environments
- Collaborate closely with Moody's engineering and operations teams to ensure cross-team alignment and a smooth transition.
- Troubleshoot and independently resolve technical issues that arise during modernization and migration efforts.
- Architect, design, and optimize deployment pipelines and automation systems.
- Support the definition of standards, processes, and best practices for Dev Ops and cloud modernization.
- 4-8 years of professional experience in Dev Ops, SRE, Cloud Engineering, or related fields.
- Located in AMER time zones or with strong availability overlap.
- English:
Advanced/Fluent (required). - Ability to work with minimal supervision, lead initiatives, mentor team members, and provide technical guidance.
- Strong analytical mindset, ownership mentality, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- AWS & GCP:
Strong experience deploying, configuring, and managing cloud environments. - Kubernetes:
Container orchestration and production cluster experience. - Docker:
Image creation, optimization, and CI/CD integration. - Terraform:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud resource provisioning and management. - Python:
Ability to read, understand, and work with build scripts. - MySQL:
Solid understanding of database operations from an infrastructure perspective. - Experience with monitoring tools, logging pipelines, and vulnerability management workflows.
