Hiring: AWS Security Consultant / Architect (Contract)
Location: Remote (US-based candidates only)
Type: Contract (initial term, with extensions likely)
We’re seeking a hands-on Databricks Security Consultant to drive a mission-critical initiative focused on enterprise data security and observability. You’ll design and implement zero-trust frameworks, strengthen Databricks on AWS security, and build scalable observability platforms that ensure compliance and end-to-end protection.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and manage data observability platforms for full visibility
- Implement and optimize AWS-native security controls (IAM, Guard Duty, Macie, WAF, etc.)
- Build real-time dashboards, alerts, and anomaly detection
- Lead data governance & classification with tools like Atlan / BigID
- Conduct risk assessments & security reviews to embed secure-by-design principles
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years in security architecture with a strong focus on data security & monitoring
- Hands-on experience with SIEMs (Splunk, Elastic, Sentinel, QRadar, Arc Sight)
- Extensive experience with all areas of Databricks
- Deep expertise in AWS security services
- Experience securing Kubernetes & containerized environments
- Certifications preferred: CISSP, AWS Security Specialty, CCSP
