You will be part of a team building training data and evaluating mathematical reasoning for AI systems.

• Converse with the model on theoretical problems and construct and evaluate proofs.
• Analyze reasoning steps for validity and articulate failure modes.
• Collaborate with the team to refine prompts, evaluation frameworks, and mathematical reasoning benchmarks.
• Identify subtle conceptual or logical failures that require deep mathematical training to detect.

• Freshly earned PhD or current Post Doc experience in pure mathematics is ideal.
• Strong command of core areas and comfort with topics such as Markov’s and Chebyshev’s inequalities, Hoeffding bounds, convergence theorems, the Carathéodory extension theorem, the Riesz representation theorem, Banach–Alaoglu, Lax–Milgram, stochastic approximation, Van Kampen’s theorem, the Yoneda embedding, and representability in cohomology.
• Clear, metacognitive communication—explicitly articulating reasoning and proof strategies.

• Pay range: $6 to $65 per hour, with exact rate determined after evaluating experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer amounts may vary from the pay range listed.
