Salary Range: $110,000 - $300,000 (L5: $110,000 - $220,000; L6: $150,000 - $300,000). The range represents the amount BNSF reasonably expects to pay for the position based on the level, scope, and responsibilities of the role. Individual compensation and level of position offered is determined by the hiring location and additional factors including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

In addition to base pay and bonus eligibility, BNSF offers a comprehensive benefits package.

This is a full-time remote position. Employees may work from anywhere within the contiguous 48 states of the United States. Travel is up to 20%; employees will be required to occasionally travel to our corporate headquarters in Fort Worth, TX for in person meetings. Travel expenses for business needs will be covered by BNSF.

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and reusable components.
• Build backend solutions using ABAP (CDS views, AMDP, OData services, RAP).
• Develop and support integrations using SAP Integration Suite, PO/PI, CPI.
• Participate in full software development lifecycle and agile practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Functional Analysts, BASIS, Security, Integration).
• Ensure compliance with SAP security standards and data protection policies.
• Stay current with SAP innovations (SAP BTP, Build, Workzone, Joule).
• Support mentoring, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
• Participate in S/4
  
  HANA implementations and custom code migration to SAP BTP.
• Apply functional knowledge of SAP modules (FICO, SD, MM, HCM/HR, Payroll/Benefits & Timekeeping).
• Demonstrate operational excellence by monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues, including participating in a 24/7 on‑call rotation.
• Lead design, deployment, and optimization of SAP systems (S/4
  
  HANA, HANA, MaxDB, MS SQL Server) across on‑prem and cloud (AWS, Azure).
• Architect scalable, high‑availability, cost‑effective SAP cloud solutions.
• Define and enforce SAP security architecture (RBAC, SoD, encryption, IAS/SSO, GRC).
• Oversee audits, compliance reporting, and security‑related projects.
• Integrate SAP and third‑party systems using SAP BTP, Integration Suite, API Management, Analytics Cloud.
