We are seeking a passionate and driven Senior QA Engineer to join our fast-growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment and is excited to contribute to cutting-edge software solutions that support our evolving business needs. We’re looking for a team player with a strong background in both manual and automated testing who enjoys collaborating with small, agile software teams and has a keen eye for quality.

The position is FULLY REMOTE working a PACIFIC TIME ZONE schedule, Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated tests for our web and back-end applications.
• Develop and manage test data for a variety of use cases.
• Create test scenarios, initially executing them manually, then automate them for integration into our CI/CD pipeline.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure software is testable and meets quality standards.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing; analyze and identify root causes of issues.
• Understand business requirements in depth to create relevant and effective test cases.
• Champion quality across the development process and advocate for best testing practices.
• Participate in use case and architectural discussions; provide insights from a QA perspective.
• Communicate with stakeholders to design test plans aligned with business objectives.
• Strong experience in manual and automated testing for web, mobile, data, and backend services.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium Web Driver, Playwright, Test Cafe, or similar.
• Hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs, with tools like Postman.
• Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Solid experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Postgre
  
  SQL) and data analysis.
• Understanding of scalable, highly available web applications and software architecture principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex issues clearly.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and own the testing process end-to-end.
• Familiarity with BDD (Behavior Driven Development) testing practices.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up environment with a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proven ability to adapt to feedback, resolve conflicts, and solve problems efficiently.
• Commitment to continuous learning, teamwork, and delivering high-quality results.
