💡 The Nokia Policy Controller (PCF/PCRF) Expert will play a critical role in deploying, integrating, and validating cloud‑native policy control functions within cutting‑edge 5G Core environments. This role ensures seamless service orchestration and high‑availability policy management across large‑scale telecom cloud infrastructures.

In this position, you will lead cloud-native deployments of Nokia Policy Controller, PCF/PCRF platforms, and multi‑vendor policy systems within 5G core networks. You will validate cloud environments, perform installations as per MOPs, integrate policy nodes with peer network functions, and troubleshoot complex issues across distributed platforms. The role demands strong hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, telecom cloud networks, and 5G core call flows, along with the ability to work across various vendor ecosystems such as Nokia, Cisco, Ericsson, Huawei, Amdocs, ZTE, and others.

• Prepare Installation MOPs and deployment artifacts for policy controller solutions.
• Validate cloud environments including images, VM flavors, networking, and storage.
• Perform application installation, upgrades, and rollback procedures.
• Conduct RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for failed deployments or integration issues.
• Execute post-installation health checks to ensure service readiness.
• Integrate PCF/PCRF applications with peer network nodes in the 5G Core.
• Support cross-functional engineering teams across deployment and troubleshooting cycles.

• Strong hands‑on experience with Nokia Policy Controller / Broad Forward / Smart Plan Suite.
• Proven expertise in PCF/PCRF (Nokia or Cisco preferred).
• Experience with Cisco Quantum Policy Suite (QPS) or other major PCRF platforms.
• Deep understanding of 5G Core architecture, SBA, and call flows.
• Strong cloud networking concepts (VPC, load balancing, routing, security).
• Extensive Kubernetes experience (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting).
• Proficiency in telecom cloud deployment & integration (CNF/VNF environments).

• Experience with multiple policy platforms:
  Ericsson PCRF / PCC / EPC, Huawei PCRF, Amdocs / Openet, ZTE UPS, Affimed vPCRF, Mavenir Policy Controller, Net Number TITAN.
• Knowledge of Helm, YAML, Docker, or Git Ops workflows.
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, EFK, etc.).
• Python or Bash scripting for automation.
