At Ever Commerce [Nasdaq: EVCM], we are on a mission to digitally transform the service economy with tailored, end-to-end SaaS solutions that simplify and empower the lives of our 725,000+ customers. Our modern digital and mobile applications create predictable, informed, and convenient experiences between customers and their service professionals in the Home & Field Services, Health Services, and Wellness industries.
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Engineer to design, build, and optimize our enterprise financial platforms. This role replaces a traditional system administrator/business analyst function with a hands‑on technical leader who combines deep accounting knowledge, One Stream and/or Net Suite development expertise, and strong API/integration capabilities.
Responsibilities- System Design:
Architect and maintain One Stream applications, utilizing Extensible Dimensionality to support complex consolidation, planning, and reporting needs. - Development:
Write, optimize, and maintain Business Rules for calculations, translations, consolidations, and workflows. - Marketplace Solutions:
Implement and extend Marketplace solutions (e.g., Task Manager, People Planning, Account Reconciliations) to modernize the "Close" process. - Performance Tuning:
Optimize consolidation times and query performance through efficient system design and code reviews.
- Data Strategy:
Serve as the technical owner for how financial data exits Net Suite. Design robust data extraction methods (Saved Searches, Suite Analytics, Suite Talk) to ensure clean data feeds into One Stream. - Integration Engineering:
Build and maintain automated data pipelines between Net Suite and One Stream using One Stream Data Management/Stage. - Technical Debugging:
Troubleshoot complex data issues by "reading the code"—whether that is debugging a Net Suite Suite Script that failed to post a journal or tracing a SQL transformation error in the data warehouse.
- Data Integrity:
Diagnose and resolve issues related to data consistency across systems in imperfect environments, using SQL or scripting to trace lineage and identify root causes. - Automation:
Replace manual Excel workarounds with system‑driven logic for repeated processes. - Partnership:
Act as the translator between Engineering and Finance, converting vague accounting requirements into precise technical specifications.
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Systems with a background in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
- Deep hands‑on experience with One Stream XF and proficiency in for writing Business Rules and Member Formulas.
- Strong SQL skills for querying large datasets, debugging transformations, and validating data integrity.
- Functional knowledge of Net Suite data structures (GL, Subsidiaries, Classifications) and preferred ability to read/debug Suite Script (JavaScript).
- Solid understanding of financial consolidation, GAAP/IFRS, intercompany eliminations, and the financial close process.
- Capability to operate comfortably with imperfect data environments and to automate repetitive processes.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate accounting requirements into technical solutions.
Fully remote, US‑based position with minimal to no travel required. Up to four trips per year for quarterly planning. Eligible to work without sponsorship.
Benefits and Perks- Flexibility to work wherever you want within your country of employment – in‑office, remote, or hybrid.

- Day‑1 access to a robust health and wellness benefits package, including an annual wellness stipend.
- 401(k) with up to a 4% match and immediate vesting.
- Flexible and generous FTO time‑off.
- Employee Stock Purchase Program.
Target base compensation: $120,000 to $140,000 USD per year in most US locations. Final offers vary based on location, market, and candidate experience.
