Job Description Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is hiring a strong Senior Cloud Engineer to support its customer Omni Federal in the design, implementation, and operation of a secure, cloud-based software development environment and prodcution runtime. Candidates must be passionate, energized, and excited to work on modern architectures and solve challenging problems. The position is hybrid, allowing work from home with on-site support at a government facility in Hanover, MD as needed.

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you’ll be working alongside senior architects to deploy cloud infrastructure that supports real-world missions. Job Responsibilities Manage Infrastructure, Configuration, and Policy as Code for an AWS-based Dev Sec Ops  environment Provision cloud environments via automated pipelines Apply STIGs and other security controls Implement Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) Generate Dev, Staging, and Production environments Automate application deployment and configuration Maintain shared enterprise services (ICAM, data stores, security scanners, etc) Manage observability, logging, and alerting Establish and maintain Service Level Agreements

Minimum Qualifications Level 3: 5 years experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years experience with Masters in a related field or 0 years experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience. Level 4: 9 years experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years experience with Masters in a related field or 4 years experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field;

or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience. Must possess an active US level Secret clearance with the ability to qualify for a TS/SCI clearance. Technical Skills (Applicable to all levels) Demonstrated experience with AWS Gov Cloud. Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications using Amazon Elastic Cloud Stack (ECS). Proficient in developing and maintaining infrastructure using AWS Cloud Formation.
