Senior ServiceNow Developer - FSM​/Service Bridge

BCMC is looking for individuals with senior level Service Now Developer experience to support customer environment operations. These are REMOTE positions.

The Service Now Developer is a technical resource possessing Service Now administration capability and is able to design, build, and customize Service Now applications and services. The Service Now Application Developer has a software development background in addition to Service Now System Administration, Service Now Advanced System Administration, Scripting in Service Now, and Application Creation in Service Now.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Supports the technical design for architecture, responsible for overall code quality ensuring a highly available and recoverable environment

• Assist with the design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules and technical solutions

• Develop custom integration components and integrate legacy systems with platform using mid-server and other relevant technologies

• Document, maintain and update policies, procedures and controls for the platform operation and software development life cycle while promoting agile development.

• Assist Service Now System Administrators with incident resolution, as needed

• Designs and develops new Service Now applications and services

• Assist Service Now Business Analyst in estimating release level of effort

Required Skills:

• U.S. Citizenship. Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability

• Hands on experience with Service Now FSM and/or Service Bridge

• Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in Service Now development

• Enterprise and/or IT Service Management

• Service Now System Administration

• Experience with gathering requirements, database design schemas, and data modeling

• 8+ years of directly relevant experience

• Minimum 4+ Years' experience with Service Now development

• Experience with process and solution integration, workflow design/configuration, and reporting

• Experience with Integration components (SSO, LDAP, e.g.) and web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, and Web Services)

• Experience with LDAP Integration, Service Now Development APIs, and diagnosing performance related issues

Desired Skills:

• Experience supporting Intelligence, DoD, or DHS Customers

• Experience with process development and deployment

• Web Service Integration (API Web Services) experience

• Single Sign-on configuration and administration

• SQL Experience

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field.

Service Now Implementation Specialist Certified
DODI 8570.1-M Compliance at IAT Level I
