Microsoft Teams Administrator/Engineer – Governance & Administration (Full-time, Remote – Nearshore)

Work hours:
Monday to Friday, 7.30 to 16.30 PST
Act as the primary administrator for Microsoft Teams, ensuring reliable and secure collaboration across the entire organization. Implement and enforce Teams governance policies (naming conventions, lifecycle management, security, compliance) to strengthen structure and security. Configure and manage Teams‑related settings, permissions, and integrations within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Troubleshoot issues and monitor performance using Teams Admin Center, analytics tools, and Power Shell automation.
Collaborate with IT leadership to define best practices, support adoption, and ensure seamless user experience.
3+ years of experience as a Microsoft Teams Administrator/Engineer in an enterprise environment. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, One Drive). Hands‑on experience with Teams governance, compliance policies, and security controls. Proficiency in troubleshooting and system administration ellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken).
Nice-to-haves- Microsoft certifications such as MS‑700 Managing Microsoft Teams or SC‑300
- Experience with Power Shell scripting for automation
- Knowledge of Teams Voice/Phone System
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory administration
