The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking a PC Network Support Technician 2 to support information system lifecycle activities on the Third Shift and occasional coverage on weekends as needed. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our Clearfield, UT location.

This is a 3rd shift schedule position, requiring the selected candidate to work Tuesday through Friday from 6:00 PM local to 4:00 AM local. The selected individual will be required to provide additional coverage for third shift weekend coverage (Friday – Sunday) as needed to cover for team member absences to ensure uninterrupted operations. Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options.

The selected individual will work on-site at our Clearfield, UT location. Applicants are encouraged to apply, only if they are willing to work on-site during the designated shifts.

• Establishes and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction according to defined objectives while adhering to established policies.
• Under supervision, performs the following tasks as assigned.
• Creates and manages tickets for all support incidents, reviewing trouble ticket queue, ensuring timely updates, accurate documentation, and compliance to resolve tickets within established guidelines.
• Performs relocation of workstations and associated equipment for individual users or teams between campus buildings, installing and configuring equipment so operations resume with minimal disruption.
• Provides basic diagnostics, identified, isolates and analyzes problems utilizing historical records.
• Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone, in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems.
• Uses Active Directory or similar tools to create and unlock user/computer account, perform password resets, following all security policies and procedures.
• Assists with paperwork and tasks to meet security requirements, adhering to all security regulations for installing, maintaining, and retiring PCs as related to hardware/software, and collaborates with Security to resolve classified data spillage incidents.
