PositionThe Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Senior Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for overseeing the design and development of software applications, including workflows, processes, and system interfaces. This role collaborates with stakeholders, works with development teams, consults on application requirements, and supervises development stages to ensure optimized business operations. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep expertise in application architecture and Salesforce, capable of designing multi-cloud solutions that maximize business value.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with business partners, stakeholders, and senior IT teams to uncover business challenges, define application needs, and ensure accountability in building strategic roadmaps that align with business requirements.
- Lead discovery workshops to uncover business challenges and goals.
- Compile and implement application plans for new or existing systems.
- Demonstrate application models/prototypes and integrate user feedback.
- Write and maintain scripts and code, including application installations and updates.
- Mentor application developers and provide technical support to end-users as needed.
- Run diagnostic tests and perform debugging procedures.
- Manage application integration, maintenance, upgrades, and migrations.
- Document development processes, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure a scalable, reliable, and available architecture for applications.
- Design and develop user-focused applications with optimized interfaces across systems, ensuring alignment with architectural patterns, user needs, and required functionalities.
- Assess the interaction/interface between applications, databases, and middleware to identify functional gaps and address issues.
- Conduct analysis to resolve operational limitations in application interactions.
- Establish architectural guidelines and goals for the organization.
- Oversee the software design process, conducting reviews to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to enterprise-wide standards.
- Evaluate risks and defects by analyzing specifications.
- Collaborate with the development and technical teams to implement solutions that meet the architectural goals and standards of the organization.
- Delegate programming and development tasks as needed.
- Generate and update documentation on system features, interfaces, and infrastructure.
- Provide recommendations on technical resources and development strategies.
- Conduct research to identify trends in application architecture and incorporate them into development projects.
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Attend and actively participate in required training and/or meetings, including but not limited to New Teammate Orientation, WWP Cares, ASIST Suicide Prevention training, Leadership training, culture/team based training, or departmental huddles.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Proven experience designing and developing large scale enterprise applications in roles such as technical development lead, solution architect, application architect, or enterprise architect.
