  • Partner with project teams and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver scalable, practical solutions.
  • Develop and deploy rapid prototypes and minimum viable solutions to address project needs.
  • Support integration with Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams) and enterprise data platforms, including Azure services and Databricks.
  • Enable intelligent automation and AI-driven capabilities within the Power Platform environment.
  • Promote innovation by identifying opportunities to improve processes through automation and better use of digital tools.
  • Provide hands‑on support for deployed applications, including troubleshooting, training, and user adoption.
  • Maintain and support Power Platform environments, including applications, connections, and related services.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized repository of Power Platform applications, components, and templates for reuse across multiple projects.
  • Standardize application design, user experience, and data structures to support scalability and consistency.
  • Apply UI/UX best practices to ensure applications are intuitive and efficient for use across project teams and leadership.
  • Support packaging, documentation, and repeatable deployment of solutions across projects.
  • Manage lifecycle of shared applications, including versioning, updates, and continuous improvement based on user feedback.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 5+ years of relevant experience, or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Practical problem solver who can build solutions quickly and iterate.
  • Comfortable working in environments where requirements are not always fully defined.
  • Strong communicator able to work directly with project teams and end users.
  • Willingness to support and improve applications after deployment.
  • Comfortable working in active project environments, including periodic time on construction sites.
  • Hybrid work model: combination of remote work and time in the Bechtel Houston office.
  • Periodic travel to project sites expected (approximately 10–25%) to support deployment, training, and field engagement.
  • Position not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Required Knowledge and Skills
  • 5+ years of experience developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate).
  • Experience integrating applications with enterprise systems, including Microsoft 365, Dataverse, and data platforms.
  • Experience supporting deployed applications, including troubleshooting, user support, and issue resolution.
  • Strong understanding of application design, data structures, and workflow automation.
  • Ability to work directly with non-technical users and translate business requirements into working solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background supporting construction, engineering, or capital project environments (EPC).
  • Familiarity with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks and their role in analytics and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Azure services, APIs, and system integration approaches.
  • Understanding of application lifecycle management, including version control and deployment practices.
  • Proficiency with core Power Platform-related languages such as Power Fx, JavaScript, and JSON.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled development tools (e.g., Copilot) and interest in applying them to solution development.
