Health Solutions Assistant Vice President – Data Warehouse Analytics

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by supporting our health solutions practice in delivering innovative and effective solutions based on Data & Analytics.

Although we would prefer candidates to work in a hybrid work environment from our Chicago, IL, Atlanta, GA, Denver, CO, or New York, NY offices, we are willing to consider a remote working environment for a strong candidate.

• Oversee the creation, review, and delivery of analytics content and visualizations for both platform-wide and client-specific needs.
• Manage ad‑hoc analytic requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses to client inquiries.
• Train internal users on data warehouse tools to drive self‑service analytics.
• Actively engage in peer review; review colleagues’ work and have your work reviewed to ensure high‑quality deliverables.

• Collaborate with Aon clients, client teams, and data warehouse vendor partners to facilitate effective data warehousing solutions.
• Support large‑scale, complex client data warehouse implementations by providing analytic oversight and guidance as needed.
• Support data quality assurance and the resolution of analytic issues from start to finish.
• Assist in defining and promoting analytic best practices, demonstrating the value of our data warehouse platform.

• Support sales activities and tool demonstrations to help grow the data warehouse customer base.
• Assist in the coordination and creation of team process documentation to ensure consistent, efficient workflows.
• Ensure analytic and sales trackers, as well as issue logs, are maintained and up to date.
• Coordinate with vendor partners and internal teams for seamless project execution and client satisfaction.

• Manage the sign‑off process, execution, and storage/maintenance requirements for legal agreements on both a client‑specific and global basis.
• Support legal process operations related to the Health Analytics Intelligence Data Warehouse services.
• Support contract renewals with external team partners, collaborating with Aon procurement and business leaders as appropriate.

• Minimum of 8 years of analytic and team management experience
• Demonstrated experience providing advisory and training support to client teams on the effective use of tools and solutions.
• Specific knowledge and experience with health care benefits data such as Medical and Pharmacy claims coding including CPT, DRG, ICD
  10 and other industry standard classifications
• Experience with employer plan designs – medical, pharmacy, enrollment, behavioral health, lost time, care management, population health programs, etc.
• Experience with oversight of analytic deliverables, creation and review of analytic content/visualizations; and financial reporting validation, quality control and reconciliation
• Experience implementing health data feeds and troubleshooting data quality issues
• Experience using data warehouse tools such as IBM/Truven/Merative, Cedar Gate, Cotiviti, HDMS, Artemis, Springbuk, similar vendors, or internally developed health analytics data warehouse
• Experience with analytic methodologies such as episode of care groupers, health risk scores, service categories, provider attribution and other industry standard analytic practices
• Experience building data‑based reports/models/tools/processes with any mix of the following:
  • MS Excel and Power Pivot, SQL/SQL Server
  • Reporting template development
  • Other business intelligence/data visualization tools – Tableau, Power BI

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline or equivalent years of industry experience

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $115,000 to $175,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
