This is a remote contractor position focused on leveraging your expertise in database engineering. The role requires a high level of proficiency with Snowflake and AWS services to build and manage efficient data pipelines.

Responsibilities

Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including SQL queries, User Defined Functions (UDFs), Stored Procedures, and Streams.
Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, including PySpark, Dynamic Frames, and Crawlers.
Design and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Utilize data ingestion patterns such as Snowpipe, COPY INTO, and staged imports/exports.

Preferred Skills

Experience with AWS Lambda for event-driven data processing.
Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks.
Experience with CI/CD practices and version control using Git.
Knowledge of HEDIS and Clinical Data.

Mandatory Skills

AWS Cloud services, including Glue, Lambda, and EMR.
Snowflake, including SQL, UDFs, Stored Procedures, and Streams.
