We’re a global team of ~40 marketing rockstars working remotely across the world.
The RoleAs Head of Social Media at Impact3 , you own Social Media as a business line.
Your mission is twofold:
Build and scale a best-in-class, multi-platform social media organization , with deep expertise for each relevant platform (X, Linked In, Reddit, Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube)
Grow the Social Media P&L , by helping close new clients, expanding existing accounts, and positioning Impact3 as the leading social partner in crypto.
This role is strictly focused on organic content and distribution.
Paid media and influencer/KOL campaigns are owned by separate, dedicated teams. Your job is to make organic social world-class, undeniable, and indispensable.
Impact3’s current organic social media department is already made up of ~10 superstars, driving roughly $1M/year in revenue .
Your role is to scale this team and its revenues. You’ll have full freedom to design the structure of the team, hire and develop platform specialists, set standards, and ensure flawless execution across all client accounts.
At the same time, you’ll be a visible leader in new business, using your expertise, case studies, and platform insight to help close deals.
This is a unique role. A tough one to say the least. But it gives a level of ownership and growth you’re unlikely to get anywhere else.

Clients consistently receive strategic, platform-native social execution , not generic content.
Social Media becomes a growth driver for the client , not just a delivery function.
Social Media revenue, retention, and upsells increase quarter over quarter.
Your Core ResponsibilitiesOwn Social Media as a discipline across the agency.
Design and scale a platform-specialist team structure.
Hire, train, and mentor senior platform leads and execution teams.
Set clear expectations, career paths, and performance standards.
2. Platform Expertise & StrategyEnsure Impact3 has deep, current intelligence on each major platform.
Oversee platform-specific playbooks, content frameworks, and best practices.
Push the team to continuously test, learn, and adapt to algorithm and format changes.
3. Quality, Systems & ExecutionSet and enforce a high bar for content quality, strategy, and storytelling.
Build scalable systems, workflows, and reporting across all social accounts.
Integrate AI and automation to improve speed, consistency, and leverage.
Ensure social execution ladders up to client OKRs and business outcomes.
4. New Business & Revenue GrowthOwn the Social Media P&L .
Actively participate in new business:
- Join New Business calls
- Pitch social strategy
- Help close social-led and multi-service deals
- Partner closely with the New Business team and other department heads
- Identify upsell opportunities within existing accounts and help close them
- Ensure social services are clearly positioned, priced, and differentiated
Work closely with Account Managers, PR, Creative, Copy, Strategy, and Growth.
Ensure social is integrated into larger campaigns and narratives.
Represent Social Media in leadership discussions and planning.
What We’re Looking ForDeep, hands-on experience with multiple social platforms , ideally with mastery in at least one.
Proven experience building and leading social media teams , ideally in an agency or fast-growing startup.
Strong strategic instincts and an opinionated point of view on content, platforms, and distribution.
Comfortable in client-facing and sales environments.
