ServiceNow Developer - HRSD

Inova IT Service Management is looking for a dedicated Service Now Developer - HRSD to join the Team. This remote role will be full-time working day-shift Monday — Friday.

The Service Now Developer - HRSD is responsible for advancing IT Service Management, ITOM and ITBM as well as platform foundational functionality through out-of-the-box capabilities and advanced application development. Supports critical operational services and high-priority strategic projects. Serves as an essential resource for several Information Technology Service projects including the foundation re-build, customer/team member experience, CSDM/CMDB, Discovery, PPM and other areas of responsibility.

Design and develop Service Now applications and workflows to meet business requirements.

Implement and configure Service Now modules, including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and HR Service Delivery (HRSD).

Integrate Service Now with other systems and applications to ensure seamless data flow.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Service Now platform and applications.

Conduct user acceptance testing and ensure the quality of the developed solutions.

Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring their effective utilization of Service Now.

Collaborate with the IT team and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Stay updated with the latest Service Now releases and best practices, ensuring our platform remains current.

Document and maintain clear and concise technical documentation for future reference.

• Education: HS or GED
• Experience: 3 years of relevant work experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Service Now Developer, with a strong background in healthcare industry preferred.
• Expertise in Service Now development, including scripting, workflow design, and module configuration.
• Experience with HRSD (Human Resources Service Delivery) preferred.
• Experience with Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) preferred.

Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification preferred.

Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) for CIS-HR and CIS-SPM preferred.
