Network Engineer, Systems Engineer
Location: New York
This role is not
eligible for remote work. Employees must live within a commutable distance of NYC and be comfortable with hybrid work 2-3 times a week within Metro NY. Out-of-state travel around the Northeast region is also required.

In this role, you'll be working directly with a Slalom Program Lead.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Oversee planning, execution, and finalization of multiple network infrastructure projects
- Lead the deployment of enterprise network infrastructure, including WiFi systems, data networks, network switches, firewalls, and server environments
- Manage implementation across network rooms, data center environments, and site buildouts
- Partner cross-functionally with construction, engineering, operations, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless delivery
- Coordinate on-site infrastructure work, including fiber installation, structured cabling, and low-voltage systems
- Ensure quality assurance of all delivered infrastructure and installations
- Produce weekly and monthly project status reports
- Understand client business challenges and translate them into effective infrastructure solutions that drive desired outcomes
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and potential points of resistance; develop mitigation plans
- Work independently while contributing effectively as part of a broader delivery team
- Collaborate closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Build strong relationships and serve as a trusted partner to clients and internal teams
- 5+ years of experience in program/project management, specifically within network infrastructure or technology deployment projects
- Hands-on experience with physical network infrastructure, including WiFi, data networks, switches, firewalls, and/or server environments
- Direct exposure to infrastructure implementation in data center, network room, or campus environments
- Experience working with construction teams, contractors, or on active build sites
- Familiarity with fiber optics, structured cabling, and low-voltage systems
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to act as a trusted advisor and business partner
- Consulting experience preferred

The targeted hourly pay range $60 to $70. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
