Job Title
Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton, a global Am Law 50 firm, is seeking a Client Security Auditor . There is only one opening.
LocationsThe offices we are considering are:
Century City, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego (Del Mar), San Diego (Downtown), San Francisco, and Silicon Valley.
The Client Security Auditor will support the Chief Security Officer to provide the highest quality of information assurance solutions to the Firm. The primary function of this role is to be responsible for maintaining compliance with information security standards as they relate to industry best practices and client security requirements. We are looking for someone with a strong background in information security and a proven ability to deliver under pressure and meet deadlines.
A strong understanding of information technology concepts and best practices is required.
- Participate in ISO 27001 and other compliance framework activities.
- Analyze vulnerability assessments and penetration test results. Create remediation plans.
- Administer technology in support of information security and audit function.
- Perform project management for information security compliance initiatives.
- Experience in working with compliance and regulatory program requirements.
- Four or more years’ experience in IT security or security auditing.
- Working knowledge of information technology, architecture, and appropriate security controls.
- Proven project management and organizational skills, specifically managing multiple concurrent audits, assessments, and projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills, applied with sound information security best practices in mind.
- Excellent written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to write with purpose, clarity, and accuracy.
- Strong self-directed work habits, exhibiting initiative, drive, creativity, maturity, self-assurance and professionalism.
- Excellent teamwork, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree; or equivalent post high school education and/or direct work-related experience preferred
Major: Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity
License And CertificationPreferred: Any of the following a plus

- You will be based in one of our local California Sheppard offices but will be allowed to work from home.
- You are required to come into the office on an as-needed basis.
- Overtime will be required on occasion as the workload requires.
Less than 10%
SalaryCalifornia:
The salary range for this position is $62.00 - $74.00 per hour
