Enterprise Resources Planning Administrator

We are seeking a well-rounded IT professional to join our lean IT team as an ERP & Systems Administrator. This role supports the organization’s full technology stack, including ERP, databases, infrastructure, networking, and end-user systems.

Working closely with the Manager of Information Technology, this position balances day-to-day operational support with system enhancements and project work. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing multiple hats, operating independently, and driving continuous improvement in a small-team environment.

This is a hybrid role with a mix of on-site and remote work.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support the Syspro ERP environment, including configuration, security, reporting, and troubleshooting
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, scheduled tasks, and SSRS reports
• Support and monitor EDI integrations and resolve transaction issues
• Assist with application upgrades, patches, testing, and system enhancements
• Support internal web tools and integrations (Angular/PHP environment)
• Administer Windows servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and core business applications
• Maintain backups and participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
• Troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and connectivity issues
• Provide Tier 1–3 support for ERP and general IT issues, including desktop support and hardware
• Support company-wide technology initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
• Evaluate and recommend business process and technology enhancements tied to system upgrades and releases

Education & Experience

• Strong customer-focused mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
• 5+ years supporting ERP systems in a production environment
• 4+ years of hands-on Microsoft SQL Server experience (T-SQL, SSRS)
• Experience supporting on-premise server environments and core infrastructure
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (VLANs, routing, firewalls)
• Experience with EDI integrations preferred
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a small-team environment
