Remote Senior ServiceNow Engineer - Intranet Transformation

100% Remote with less than 10% travel (quarterly)

Role Overview

A large, modernization‑focused enterprise is seeking a Senior Service Now Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise in Service Now Employee Center (EC) to lead a high‑visibility intranet transformation initiative. This engineer will be responsible for migrating the organization’s existing SharePoint-based intranet into Service Now Employee Center and will serve as the technical owner for all EC design, configuration, and ongoing enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full migration of the current SharePoint intranet into Service Now Employee Center.

• Architect, configure, and deliver a scalable, user‑friendly Employee Center experience.

• Ensure the new platform supports enterprise communication, employee self‑service, and integrated workflows.

• Partner closely with HR, Corporate Communications, IT, and Infrastructure leaders.

• Deliver solutions aligned with the organization’s strategy to avoid unnecessary customization.

Required Experience

• Strong, hands‑on expertise with Service Now Employee Center (EC).

• Previous delivery of an intranet migration or similar EC implementation is highly preferred.

• Deep understanding of intranet capabilities including personalization, content management, search, navigation, and self‑service.

• Experience working in cross‑functional, collaborative environments.

• Ability to operate autonomously while maintaining a team‑oriented and approachable communication style.
