What You'll Do:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Principal to join our Incident Management Support Team – OEM. Focusing on operational practices, the ideal candidate will have experience in cloud engineering, container orchestration and a strong background in providing Level 2 technical support and managing enterprise service management platforms like Service Now.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Engineering:
Support and manage applications and services in a hybrid- cloud environment such as AWS. Ensure optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and security.

Container Orchestration:
Support Kubernetes clusters for containerized application deployment, scaling, and management.

Service Now Integration:
Configure and integrate Dev Ops tools and processes with the Service Now platform to automate incident management and support other IT service workflows.

Technical Support:
Serve as a subject matter expert for Level 2 technical issues, troubleshooting complex problems related to software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and application performance.

Collaboration:

Work closely with software development, deployment, and SRE teams to ensure seamless integration and a shared understanding of operational requirements.

Monitoring & Optimization:
Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and proactively identify and resolve issues.

Hands-on experience with Service Now, including ITSM, ITOM, and other relevant modules.

Experience providing Level 2 technical support in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Dev Ops, Software Engineering, or similar role.

Technical

Skills:

Demonstrable expertise in Cloud Engineering on at least one major platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Proven experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, specifically Kubernetes.

Hands-on experience with Service Now, including ITSM, ITOM, and other relevant modules.

Experience providing Level 2 technical support in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Education and/or

Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Dev Ops, Software Engineering, or similar role.
