Snowflake Engineer – Data Pipelines & Cloud Analytics (Full-Time, Remote – LATAM)

Kick off your next career move with Launchpad! We’re looking for a motivated Snowflake Engineer eager to grow in a dynamic, cloud‑driven environment. You’ll work with a global data team to design, build, and optimize modern data solutions using Snowflake, SQL, and cloud technologies. February 2026. Contract type:
Contractor – Indefinite.

Work hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm PST – 100% Remote.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes within the Snowflake Data Cloud, ensuring performance and scalability.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations for analytics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to define data models, schemas, and integration logic.
  • Work with AWS or Azure services for data ingestion, orchestration, and automation (Lambda, S3, Data Factory, etc.).
  • Support data quality, validation, and documentation to ensure reliable business intelligence.
  • Contribute to process improvements, automation, and best practices within the data engineering team.
What You Need to Succeed – Must‑haves
  • 2–5 years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL, or Database Development.
  • Hands‑on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, virtual warehouses, tasks, streams).
  • Snow Pro Core Certification.
  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with Python, Airflow, or similar ETL/orchestration tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
  • Advanced‑Bilingual English communication skills (written and spoken).
Nice‑to‑haves
  • Experience with dbt, Terraform, or CI/CD for data pipelines.
  • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, or performance tuning in Snowflake.
  • Prior experience in remote, multicultural engineering teams.
