Sheppard, Mullin, Richter, and Hampton LLP, a global Am Law 50 firm, is seeking an experienced Training and Transformation Lead in our Dallas office. Job Summary
The Training and Transformation Lead will be responsible for supporting our learning management system with Persona driven paths. They will develop interactive training modules that help individuals learn how to be successful with firm offered tools based on their role. The lead will support training and adoption through the Prosci methodology, helping new hires, experienced business services groups and attorneys absorb, adopt and retain information on process, tools and technology offerings.
The Training and Transformation Lead will support the Training and Transformation Manager as well as HR to create new virtual onboarding, continuing education programs and learning plans.
- Learn new technologies and deliver quality e-learning and interactive video training to attorneys and staff.
- Build out firm wide Training newsletters.
- Develop training by persona for business services with HR.
- Lead weekly new hire technology training and onboarding.
- Develop interactive hands‑on e-learning exercises as follow up to live classes or videos.
- Time Spent: approximately 20% live training / 40% development / 40% project support training.
Preferred Qualifications: 3-5 years working in the legal, training or a client facing role.
EducationPreferred: Bachelor’s Degree.
License And CertificationPreferred: PROSCI certification;
Articulate;
Adobe Creative Cloud;
Scribe;
Canva; understanding of SCORM.
Preferred: Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Premiere, Scribe, Canva;
Docebo/Talent
LMS; familiarity with Legal tech tools;
Microsoft Office.
- Working indoors with limited exposure to hazards (only those that customarily come up in working in a high‑rise).
- Indoor office work environment in a workstation.
- Current Firm policy is hybrid – working in the office at least three days per week and working from home the rest of the week (subject to change).
- Overtime may be required as the job duties demand.
Travel will be required at times to visit offices for training events, up to 25%.
