Job Responsibilities- Provide on-site IT support to small business clients, addressing a range of issues from desktop to network problems.
- Working in-person with clients on technology issues as assigned, ensuring a positive customer experience through promptness, accuracy, and excellent communication.
- Deploy and maintain servers and network infrastructure.
- Offer desktop support and troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Manage and configure Windows Server environments, including Hyper‑V, Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
- Administer and support Cisco Meraki, Sonic Wall, Office 365, and VOIP phone systems.
- Monitor and maintain security measures to protect client data and systems from cyber threats and accidental loss.
- Adhere to all AIT Pros policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and security.
- Regularly travel locally to client offices and worksites within Northeast Ohio, approximately 75% of the time and sometimes more, which may involve multiple site visits per day. Occasional work from home is also possible.
- Previous experience in IT support, particularly in deploying servers and managing network infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments (Hyper‑V, AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies).
- Experience with Cisco Meraki, Sonic Wall, Office 365, and VOIP systems is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of general technology principles and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques.
- Proficiency in documenting processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or relevant Microsoft or Cisco certifications.
