Systems Engineer

The salary range varies depending on experience, between €120,000 – €140,000 (OTE).
Work model: Full-time, fully remote within Germany, with onboarding at the Dresden head office and occasional in-person events.
Location: Germany, preferably in the Rhine-Main, Berlin, Munich, Düsseldorf, or Cologne/Bonn regions.
Muxon is a small, globally active recruitment agency and is conducting this search on behalf of our partner, an innovative industrial robotics company operating at the intersection of Physical AI and software-defined automation. We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect who can translate complex business needs into scalable IT/OT architecture strategies and support enterprise customers in their automation journey.
Responsibilities- Translate customer business goals into platform value narratives, architecture principles, and adoption strategies.
- Co-design target IT–OT architectures for software-defined automation and Physical AI across multi-site environments.
- Lead maturity assessments and architecture workshops with business, IT, and OT stakeholders.
- Build phased transformation roadmaps with clear risk mitigation and value realization plans.
- Support Sales in executive-level conversations, business cases, and long-term framework agreements.
- Identify expansion opportunities across sites, use cases, and regions.
- Ensure architectural continuity across the full customer lifecycle.
- 8+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, or IT/OT Transformation Architect.
- Proven experience in large enterprise environments and automation domains.
- Strong understanding of cloud and enterprise IT architectures, OT systems, and shop-floor realities.
- Experience with industrial robotics, AMRs, and platform-based business models.
- Confidence working with C-level stakeholders, CIO/CDO/CTO teams, and OT/engineering teams.
- Excellent workshop facilitation, structuring, and abstraction skills.
- Business-outcome driven mindset with ownership, curiosity, and pragmatism.
- Fluent English and German at C1 level.
