Position PurposeThe Senior Functional Analyst is responsible for helping drive the growth, adoption, and business impact of the Company’s enterprise data and analytics platform. This role is the bridge between stakeholders and the Data and Analytics team for active project delivery. The Senior Functional Analyst owns upstream project work and leads intake and discovery, translating business needs into clear and actionable requirements, producing wireframes and user experience direction, product testing, and end user acceptance testing to ensure what gets delivered matches what was needed.
The Senior Functional Analyst closely partners with the Vice President of IT, Data, and Financial Services, Project Manager, engineering team, and business stakeholders to drive iterative, agile delivery of Foundry-based solutions that enable data‑informed decision making across the organization. This individual is accountable for translating business problems, operational workflows, and decision‑making needs into clear requirements that can be evaluated, prioritized, tested, and adopted.
The Senior Functional Analyst ensures the team is solving the right problem before engineering begins and that delivered solutions align to business process, data logic, user experience, and measurable business outcomes.
Success in this role can be defined as an individual who is a strong facilitator, who asks insightful questions, isn’t afraid to push back on ambiguity, and can translate between business language and technical execution. The Senior Functional Analyst is comfortable learning new platforms, thrives in environments that require independent ownership, and brings structure to unstructured problems.
